I must confess to relating pop songs to Celtic games. As soon as I hear a song on radio then I get flashbacks, good and bad, of Celtic results of days gone by.

I thought I was unique in this respect but Gerry McGreechin contacted the site on twitter with this fun Celtic related music quiz from the 1970’s.gas

Take it away Gerry…..

Each of the 10 songs below were at number 1 on some memorable Celtic moments of the glorious decade that was the 1970’s. There are only one per year so hopefully that will make it a bit easier.

When I say moments, this can be anything to do with the club in a football sense, be it good or bad, happy or sad (aye, i know that’s a cheesy lyric reference, but not a clue). Hopefully some will evoke memories for you,and it would be great for you to share them. Good luck.
