It’s derby day at paradise as Darren O’Dea’s Celtic side welcome Rangers to Celtic Park in what will be an exciting fixture with a large Celtic crowd in attendance.

It’s been a while since the young hoops had a fixture, with the previous three fixtures being postponed due to the weather, so the last time Celtic played was a 3-1  home defeat to Berwick Rangers , meaning that the hosts will be looking to get back to winning ways

It’s a big occasion for the Bhoys as they will be playing at Celtic Park as opposed to their usual home ground, the Excelsior Stadium. This type of occasion will motivate the players to perform well on the park and put on a show for the supporters in attendance. O’Dea  hopes to have as many fans attending as possible and play their part in the showing support for the future of the club : “It would be fantastic to see as many Celtic fans there as we could.”

With the game being at Celtic park , it is expected that there will be a large number of supporters in attendance, more than what they would usually expect , the growing popularity of the Lowland League will also play a factor in more and more supporters attending the games

Rangers B will be a tough opponent for Celtic to overcome but  O’Dea is confident in his players to get the result as he is for any fixture they play in .

Celtic are currently sixth place in the league and will be looking for strong performances each week to build pressure on the teams above, as they are only six points behind league leaders, Rangers , which makes tomorrow’s game a must win for O’Deas side.

It will be an exciting afternoon for all involved and the supporters attending as it showcases the future of the Glasgow Derby with the hope of both teams player’s progressing into the first teams.
