Like all supporters, we were extremely saddened to hear the news that Sean Fallon has passed away aged 90.
Sean was someone who gave everything to the club he loved and to every supporter he met. The kind words and deeds together with the fun with which Sean lived his life created such a rare and genuinely warm humble man.
The term ‘legend’ trips off the tongue so easily these days but there can be no doubt that Sean was truly a legend and his contribution to Celtic’s development and success can never be overstated.
Sean’s humility and total devotion to Celtic can be encapsulated in his own profound yet simple words:
“I was just happy to serve my club in any way I was wanted.”
