I love Christmas and can’t wait to be woken (probably around 5am) by my 7 yr old desperate to see what Santa has brought. Not everyone is so lucky and the Celtic FC Foundation do sterling work every year in bringing cheer to the local community and this year’s Spirit of Christmas appeal is no different.
There is a new part to the Foundation Christmas appeal this year. From 6pm tonight you will have the opportunity to purchase a small LED candle, priced £2, and place it around the Christmas tree on the Celtic Way’s Clover area in memory of a loved one. Celtic FC Foundation volunteers will be located on the Celtic Way and other key entry points around the ground with the candles.
The first candle placed on the Clover will be laid in honour of Brother Walfrid and all funds raised will support Celtic FC Foundation’s 2017 Christmas Appeal.
It’s sure to be a beautiful and magical spectacle as we aim to ‘Light up the Clover’ so please arrive early to take part and help us Share the Spirit of Celtic this Christmas to help the most vulnerable in our community so arrive early tonight and help Celtic FC Foundation ‘Light up the Clover’ before the Hoops take on Hamilton.
