Saturday past saw the annual Celtic FC Foundation badge day which raises funds for Britain’s most successful football club charity. The success of the Foundation is no surprise, after-all we all know why this club was founded but this week, the 7th successive badge day on trophy day the NET amount raised was in the region of £20,000. This is a fabulous effort and thank you and well done to all.
As usual I was with a team in the North East corner and as usual we had a fantastic time with the usual late rush moments before kick off with people looking for badges as the ref’s whistle sounded. For those people here’s a wee tip – if you get to the ground 15 mins before kick off you’ll be able to buy your 20 badges! For the 3rd year running I was there with my bhoy and this was our Perfect Day.
